

New Art: Orca Splash!
Another mini splash painting in the series that sprouted from card-sized gift art, warm-up art, and spur-of-the-moment-inspired doodlings. This was a warm up painting done before I painted The Matriarch, my watercolor of the famous wild orca J2 "Granny." It was painted and carefully detailed with teeny tiny nail art brushes. New Art! ~ Mahi Mahi Splash
Neeew stuff! Watercolor and ink painting of a bull mahi mahi, aka the dolphin fish or dorado! This fish (in my opinion anyway) is one of the most amazingly colored fish in the sea. They seem to "light up" with unbelievably brilliant colors when they are alive and underwater, and especially when they are excitedly hunting their prey.
