New Art! ~ Mahi Mahi Splash

Neeew stuff!

Watercolor and ink painting of a bull mahi mahi, aka the dolphin fish or dorado! This fish (in my opinion anyway) is one of the most amazingly colored fish in the sea. They seem to "light up" with unbelievably brilliant colors when they are alive and underwater, and especially when they are excitedly hunting their prey.

Mahi mahi are a very fast growing and abundant fish - rod and reel caught mahi is considered a sustainable seafood choice, while other large predatory fish commonly seen on menus such as the commercially over-harvested and often endangered tunas and swordfishes are not.

This fishie is in my online shops and ready to be printed!

And he will soon be available on the note cards that I sell at my live shows!

This mini original was painted for Dillon for all the marketing help, (you rock!) thank you so much for helping out an artist! :)
