The sheepshead - Archosargus probatocephalus - is a plucky saltwater fish best known for its human-like front teeth! The sheepshead has many rows of teeth - which it uses to crunch on bivalves and crustaceans.
This is a watercolor and ink illustration of a fish that I caught while kayak fishing in the Indian River Lagoon.
